Use of this medication
The recommended dose for tamsulosin is 0.4 mg once daily. The dose
should be taken approximately 1/2 after the same meal each day.
The dose may be adjusted to 0.8 mg once daily.
Body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications can
affect the dosage of this medication. Do not change the way that
you are taking the medication without consulting your doctor, even
if it is different than what is listed here.
